The Scrapbook Club Idea
Team Search
We are looking for several individuals to join our TSC Idea Team. We are looking
for artistic, motivated, creative individuals who feel they can bring some
inspiration, creativity and fun to our TSC Community. We are open to new and
experienced designers alike. Please note that this is not a contest, so we are
not looking for the best projects. Rather, we are looking for the best designers
who fit with our company's style and team. We would love to have you apply!
TSC Idea Team requirements are listed below:
Team members are expected to submit 2 (quality scanned) 12x12 or 8.5x11 layouts and 2 cards or project per month (via email) using TSC Kit contents to be posted on the TSC website and in our online community. Submissions will also be used for promotional purposes on the web or in print.
We ask that team members be an active part of our community by keeping discussions going, issuing challenges, leaving layout praise, encouraging participation and sharing any helpful information for creating layouts, cards or other paper crafts and trying a variety of techniques. Posting messages at least 5 days per week and participating in challenges.
We ask that team members share their enthusiasm and promote TSC through signature lines, blogs and posts on other web sites/message boards.
We ask our team members to submit 1 altered art project in a 6 month period, along with detailed instructions to be included in newsletters sent to our members, month to be assigned.
We ask that team members teach 1 online class or video demonstration in a 6 month period. This is done on a rotating basis to give each design team member the opportunity to teach.
We are asking for a 6 month commitment. Designers should expect to commit about 8 to 10 hours per month, with peaks near the tradeshows and specialty days such as National Scrapbooking Day.
We ask that The Scrapbook Club be the ONLY kit club you design for. Other design teams are ok, as long as they do not interfere with your agreement with TSC. We are looking for committed individuals, who take commitment seriously and honor their commitments.

To apply to be a member of the TSC Idea Team, please submit a minimum of 5
examples of your work (of which 2 submissions should be paper craft projects
(cards or altered art) the other 3 must by 12x12 or 8.5x11 layouts. Please make
sure that all files are no more than 100K in size and 500x500 pixels. Larger
files will not be considered. In addition, please answer the following
questions:

How long have you been scrapping?
Have you ever been published? If yes, where?
Are you on any other design teams? How many and which ones?
Do you have a blog? Please provide a link.
May we have a link to your online gallery so that we may view more of your work?
Are you active online? In what communities? Username
Can you complete assignments on short notice, a weeks notice if necessary?
In addition, please include a realistic
estimate of how much time you will be able to devote to our online community

Please note: Due to shipping cost and
time, we are not currently accepting international applicants. Due to the high
volume of applicants we receive, we are unable to individually acknowledge
entries.
Deadline is February 28, 2007. New TSC Idea Team Members will be announced
March 5,
2007. Term begins with materials arriving in March.
